Activity: Preparing Your Listening Environment

Where will you and the other Digital Ambassadors host most of your conversations? Will it be a quiet room that you can control? Or will it be a public space? Review the space(s) where you will likely have your conversations and determine what kind of distractions might be evident in the room. What can you do to make it more conducive to having a good conversation and listening actively?

Work with the other Digital Ambassadors to organize the space so it best supports good conversation. That may mean putting some things away–or getting rid of them. Maybe you'll want to rearrange furniture. At the very least, be sure you have a clean table, desk, or workspace where you can have good conversations.
