Have a Professional Appearance

A professional appearance was one of the top two most common characteristics found in our nonscientific study using the word cloud. Dressing professionally means wearing clothes that are appropriate for the situation you’re in. You should look nice and show respect for the people you're meeting and the work you're doing. It's not about dressing up in fancy or expensive clothes. Professionals look neat, clean, and appropriate for the situation. A professional athlete’s look would be different from a Digital Ambassador. 

Your appearance will set the tone for the work you are going to do. Some tips for looking professional as a Digital Ambassador include:

• Follow your school or district’s dress code. You are representing your school and district as a Digital Ambassador.
• It may be appropriate to wear school apparel as a way to represent your school. Your Digital Ambassador team may even want to get shirts or jackets that are branded to your school or team.
• Be sure whatever you wear is clean and neat.
• Be sure you are clean and neat!
