The designers of this course made an effort to include valid and reliable resources within this content. These resources may include resources developed by government organizations, trusted organizations and institutions of higher education, and experts in different fields. In addition, because there are topics related to technology, support sites from many technology vendors will also be valuable resources to you in this course and as a Digital Ambassador. Topics related to technology change quickly. If you find a resource is no longer current or links are not working, please notify your teacher/coordinator so it can be updated.
Please note: There are many informative videos online that provide excellent advice and information. Many videos online on services such as YouTube often contain advertisements. Even highly respected organizations may post videos with advertisements. One aspect of digital literacy is understanding how to handle advertisements. Many can be skipped fairly quickly. You don't have to listen to the ads, so you can mute your device or look away. And know that many of the ads appear because of your online history, not necessarily ads that are related to the organization that posted the video.
