Reflection on learning assumptions

How do you learn best? Review the six assumptions and determine which ones are most like you. If you have had experience teaching others of any age, how do the strategies in the “What you can do” column sound? Have you tried any of them? Which would apply to you if you were the learner.

Also consider the “Things to avoid.” What can you do to keep these in mind? Consider whether you can practice all of the strategies with another Digital Ambassador or even make a short checklist of things to do and things to avoid.

Share your thoughts on the six assumptions of learning in a discussion with other Digital Ambassadors. Let them know which ones are most important to you. Also consider how you might support someone who identified different assumptions as being more important than yours.
