Determine What Your Learners Should Know and Be Able to Do

Your learners will develop new knowledge and skills. These become the objectives for your learning. These may also be referred to as learning goals, competencies, or outcomes. 

Notice that each of these modules includes objectives. They’re presented at the beginning of the learning so you know what’s expected. Presenting objectives again at the end of a lesson or activity is a way for an audience to determine whether they are done with their learning.

You can simply list the objectives for your learning as short statements in bullet points. That’s very common in tutorials. You’ll design some objectives later in this module when you create a tutorial.
