What You'll Know and Do

You probably already bring a good deal of experience with the technologies discussed in this module. The goal of this module is less about teaching you how to use these technologies but to support you as you teach others how to use these technologies. We will cover the following three topics:

1. Surfing the Web using a web browser.
2. Use of smart devices.
3. Web conferencing. Some people also refer to it as video conferencing.

By the end of this module, you should have developed skills and knowledge to help others understand

• How to connect to and use the Internet to interact safely with others using a web browser;
• How to optimize the use of any mobile devices they may own so they are better able to interact with others safely; and
• How to interact with others using video conferencing software.
