Module 3: Designing Learning

A big part of being a Digital Ambassador is to design learning experiences and lead others through them. This means you’re the teacher and they’re the student. Sometimes your students may be older than you. You have years of experience being a student. Now you get to experience the other side of learning–design.

Instructional Design refers to designing learning that helps people successfully know or do something new. This module will provide an overview of some instructional design practices you can use as a Digital Ambassador. The bulk of this module will focus on designing tutorials. Tutorials are step-by-step directions that are commonly used when learning new technologies. You may work through a tutorial with someone else or let them do it on their own.

Later in this module, you’ll create a tutorial that you can use as a Digital Ambassador.
