Activity: Design a Template

Working in small groups, design a template for a Slide Deck (either PowerPoint or Google Slides) or a Handout (either Microsoft Word or Google Docs). You may want to start with a template you find and update it. Remember that “less is more.” Stick to one font family. Make sure it is easy to read. You may have to adjust the font size or color to make it easier to read.

Don’t use more than three colors for fonts, banners, or other visual elements.

Add an image and give an explanation of why you prefer the image’s style.

You may want to incorporate the words Digital Ambassadors or create a logo for your team and incorporate it into your design.

If your team already has templates, review them and determine whether you can suggest any changes or variations.
